English Housing Survey 17/18

The Office of National Statistics has released the English Housing Survey 17/18, and the findings show the vast majority of private renters are satisfied with their accommodation, which is contrary to negative press and TV reports, who seem to be intent on portraying a poor Private Rented Sector for housing standards and tenants !

The Key findings show ; 

84% of private renters were satisfied or Very satisfied with their property, not far short of the same figures for owner occupiers. 

only 12% of renters were asked to leave their property by their landlord (which presumably includes arrears cases and anti social issues or landlord having to sell)

71% of private renters found it easy or Very easy to pay their rent 

So all isn't as bad in the private rented sector as press and TV would make you think !!
